This light instantly turns into heat, which damages the follicle and stops it from producing new hair in the future. Over a series of sessions, hair becomes noticeably thinner, lighter, and much sparser, leaving the underarms smooth and irritation-free compared to shaving or waxing.
Most people achieve excellent, long-lasting results with 6–8 treatments. Some (especially those with hormonal influences, coarse hair, or darker skin tones) may need 10–12 sessions for optimal clearance. Sessions are usually spaced 4–6 weeks apart.
